The Swings

Originally co-commissioned by Imaginate Family Day and Merchant City Festival, our larger than life 5m high giant swing set has 2 swings and is designed to be fully accessible and give your audience the chance to join in with the joy and freedom of children’s swings!

Each day has 4 aerial performances on the swings, lasting 15 minutes each, performed by 2 aerial performers.  A fun and uplifting duo, inspired by the joy and friendship and what you got up to being on a swing.  After each performance the swings are open for the public to swing on.

40 rocking stools are used for the audience to sit on while they watch the performance and wait for their turn to swing.  Other audience can stand and sit on the ground all around it.

The show has accessible swings and audio description and is run by a team of 5.
