Presented by Tricky Hat Productions, The Flames is a performance company just for people over 50, and it is returning with a new, full-length performance which takes artistic and thematic risks, and promises to challenge the taboos surrounding ageing.

The Flames started with a series of Guerrilla Sessions – 13 short-burst performances all over Scotland, working with performers from a venue’s locality, each performance a brand new multi-media show built around real stories from The Flames’ lives.  

Don’t Stop Me Now takes the best bits to create a new and dynamic piece of theatre to showcase this new voice and older force, using honest and life-enhancing performances.

A combination of performance, film and specially composed music, this event highlights the resilience of the over-50s performers and explores the stories behind why they are such an unstoppable force.
