My Muses Take Care of Me

Choreographed by Fleur Darkin, My Muses Take Care of Me is a conversation between bodies and sculptural pieces by French visual artist Claire-Rose Barbier. Drawing on themes of ancient feminine power, armoury and the resilience of nature, the company carry the audience on an hour long journey through life, death, love and regeneration while accompanied by live music, a heady electronic dance score by Matthew Brown and poetry influenced by the land in which it was made.

The second half of the evening sees the performance space become a dance floor for everyone – where audiences can stop observing and dance into the wild night-time.
