John Scott Dance

John Scott, Dublin born Choreographer, dancer, singer. He is founder and director of John Scott Dance/Irish Modern Dance Theatre. Scott’s work addresses diversity, love, metaphysics. It has been described by tanz as “Beckett meets Monty Python”. He performs in Oona Doherty’s ‘Hard To Be Soft’. John is one of the subjects of Sadlers Wells’ 52 Portraits for Jonathan Burrows, Matteo Fargion and Hugo Glendinning. He founded Dancer from the Dance Festival of Irish Choreography in New York and Dublin in 2019.
