The Dean Crowe Theatre & Arts Centre, Athlone is a professional venue with strong community links. With a 442-seat theatre, art gallery and bar, we receive a range of events in all performance genres & art forms across professional arts practice, commercial arts practice & events, and community, voluntary & amateur arts practice. We produce an annual pantomime and run the ‘One Tribe’ Arts Ability Project. In 2020, we piloted a new artist development space opportunity. Recently we launched an online chat show series – Dean Crowe Dialogues – featuring local community organisations & artists.
