Sarah Rose Graber and Ruxandra Cantir are a theatre-making duo based in Glasgow collaborating since 2017. They have created and performed shows for all ages from spectacle-based outdoor theatre to intimate indoor work using Contemporary Devising practices, Puppetry, Clown, and Physical/Visual Theatre. Some highlights of their work include “Unicorn Dance Party” – an interactive theatrical experience about finding your inner unicorn, “Two in a Barrel” – a physical theatre show for kids about the waste we create and co-existing in an environment with limited resources, “THE REFS” – an outdoor interactive show about turning public spaces into games, “The Dirty Laundry Campaign” – an interactive theatre show about two inept politicians looking for your vote.
Sarah Rose Graber is an American multidisciplinary theatre maker based in Scotland. She graduated from Northwestern University and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Graber is a Circumnavigator Scholar having traveled around the world to the US, UK, South Africa, Kenya, Mauritius, Australia, New Zealand, and Argentina researching theatre for social change. She won a Fulbright award to create devised work across the UK, named “One of 15 Women to Watch” in Today’s Chicago Woman Magazine, and shortlisted for the Amazing Women Awards with No.1 Magazine.She received the MacArthur International Connections Fund for her production of Reprise which was performed both in Chicago and Glasgow as part of National Theatre of Scotland’s Home Away Festival. Ruxy holds an MFA in Ensemble Based Physical Theatre from Dell’Arte International.
