Clydebuilt Puppet Theatre

Clydebuilt are one of Scotland’s leading Puppet Touring companies celebrating 35 years of bringing quality puppet theatre to theatres, festivals and schools. We tour mainly to rural areas and events all over the uk, both indoor and outdoor festivals and schools.

Clydebuilt have received Creative Scotland Funding in 2020 to produce a new outdoor show for family audience ‘STORIES JUST IN CASE’.  Creative Scotland also funded ‘The Creative Process’ to bring arts directly to schools in rural areas. Clydebuilt have also toured overseas, mainly China in 2008/2009/2010.

Clydebuilt perform many different types of puppetry – ROD/SHADOW often combining both to create interdisciplinary shows for family audiences.
