Bottom Dog Theatre’s mission is to keep the professional practice of theatre alive in Limerick.

Successful productions include A Wilde Fan (2019), Smallone (2018), Drinking In America (2017), The Bachelor of Kilkish (2014), What Happened Bridgie Cleary (nom: Best Actress ITTA 2013), The Revenger’s Tragedy (nom: Best Set ITTA 2010) and Language UnBecoming A Lady (winner: Best Actor Origin’s 1st Irish Theatre Awards 2015, NYC)

Through a process of consistent collaboration within our ensemble of proven writers, actors and directors, we produce dynamic new work with a particular regional resonance.

We have toured successfully to over 40 venues nationally and now internationally.
