The Whirlybird

The Whirlybird is a funny, playful and moving piece of visual theatre for children aged 3-7 and their families.

Featuring movement, music, birdsong and puppetry, the production is about learning to fly and encouraging one another. It celebrates the differences that make us unique, finding inspiration in nature and the wonder of flight. Like all Eco Drama’s work, it is designed to inspire young audiences about the natural world and bring them closer to nature through quality creative learning theatre experiences.

Founded in 2007, Eco Drama’s theatre productions and creative learning projects which nurture a sense of curiosity and wonder for our natural world, have toured theatres, schools, community venues and festivals across Scotland and the UK ~ to date working with over 92,000 children and their communities.
