Rosie Nimmo and Norman Lamont Step Out

Rosie Nimmo is a Scottish singer-songwriter and musician known for her emotive blend of jazz, blues, folk and acoustic music.

Hailing from Edinburgh, she has built a reputation for her distinctive voice, poignant songwriting, and heartfelt performances. Drawing from a wide range of influences, including traditional folk, Americana, and contemporary pop, she crafts songs that are both personal and relatable, exploring themes of love, loss, the environment, world affairs and self-discovery.

Her music is often described as rich in storytelling, with lyrics that reflect her experiences and observations. Over the years, Rosie Nimmo has built a dedicated following, performing at a variety of venues and festivals across the UK and beyond.

Norman Lamont also lives in Edinburgh, performing solo and with his rock band, The Heaven Sent. He has produced eight albums, with airplay on Radio Scotland and many local radio stations. Influenced by the classics – Simon, Dylan and Cohen, he has also been compared with Nick Lowe and Elvis Costello. A reviewer wrote:
