Gobbess

Gobbess is a personal, moving and funny story about learning to fully live and to embrace imperfection, following a cancer operation. It’s about falling in love with whimsy and playfulness and not caring how you look doing it. It talks about being a creative in a capitalist hellscape and champions a safe space to share our frustration and failings in a world that prioritises playing by the patriarchy’s rules. It’s told through original spoken word (some of it while suspended in an aerial hoop) and includes chair acro, combined with poetry.
