This daft and entertaining show gives you the chance to release your inner pirate, make the sound effects and take part in scenes in a special edition of the play. There’s a part for everyone in…The Mystery of the Pirate Lagoon
The show begins with an introduction to the weird and wonderful world of radio drama. Audiences enjoy learning about how it all works in the radio studio and having the chance to make sound effects and join in with choral “Ahars” etc when we use cue boards. This interaction is carefully managed so as not to embarrass anyone – it’s more panto than the terror of being on the front row of a stand-up show!
When warmed up, we ask for volunteers to record a few cameo moments for the second half of the show.
This is the performance of the radio production of The Mystery of the Pirate Lagoon and the audience have the fun of hearing themselves back in the edit of the show.

It’s a lively, sociable, fun night out (and you can dress up as a pirate if you want to!)
