The Sandy Brechin Band

The Sandy Brechin Band is a four-piece high-energy outfit, led by legendary accordionist, Sandy Brechin, and featuring many of his own amazing compositions, and his unique comic introductions. The rest of the band are an exciting combo of guitar, bass and drums/cajon. Sometimes, the band throw in the odd song, although the set is mostly instrumental.

The band are very flexible  in terms of venue size. If the stage or venue is small, then the percussionist can play cajon instead of drums, and the guitarist can play acoustic instead of electric.

As an extra benefit, the band can also play for a ceilidh dance, either instead of, or after, the concert performance, with Sandy able to call all the dances.
