A Wolf Shall Devour the Sun is a fusion of folk tale and northern myth, song, soundscape, and imagery. It is born of an exploration into wolf history, ecology, and mythology in Scotland and Europe, furnished by personal anecdotes of wolf tracking in Germany and Romania.
Ancient myth and wild anecdote meet mesmeric imagery and dreamlike soundscapes. This show opens a liminal space to muse wildness in land and psyche, personified by the wolf. Storytelling, music, puppetry and animation weave a poignant show of feral beauty.
