A natural performer and band leader, Ewan delivers a transatlantic, soul/ folk inspired show with his all star band including; Dirk Ronnenburg (Fiddle), Bado Reti (Contrebasse), Tamlin Wiltshire (Drumkit and Pandero), and singers Caro Bridges and Sally Jaquet. Driven by an undercurrent of intimate storytelling, thought provoking lyrics and a bombastic, heartfelt sensibility and showmanship, they raise spirits through harmony singing and lush musicianship in a highly original and eclectic show that is not to be missed!
A second generation puppeteer, musician, and Gaelic and English songwriter with four solo albums to date, Ewan broke in his music with shows across Canada and Europe since 2015 and prior to that as ex-lead singer of award winning Edinburgh collective Southern Tenant Folk Union, psychedelic funk outfit Ruby & The Emeralds and with live and recorded theatre soundtracks since age 16.

Ewan’s 4th record to date, Twenty First Century Fool, was written in 2021 with a killer COVID band of Quebecois musicians. The album was completed in 2022 on the Isle of Skye and features his debut in Gà idhlig songwriting with tracks A Bhith Saor and Seòladair na h-Inntinn, as well as seven other stunning tracks such as Fall in Canada and Horizontal Man. The album is a culmination of Ewan’s stylings, developed over the years, co-produced by Patrick Bourget in Montreal.
