About
Supported by funding from Arts Council England.
We believe midscale touring needs more than good intentions — it needs collaboration. That’s why we’re bringing venues, producers, artists, tour bookers and sector specialists together to share expertise, test new ideas and build the relationships that get shows produced and seen, especially in local theatre.
Midscale 2026 is our inaugural one-day working event, on 21 October 2026, for anyone who makes touring happen or wants to shape its future. We’re uniting productions currently on tour, shows set to tour, and new ideas looking for partners, to spark conversations that lead to better ways of working.
