Platform Update – October 2025

This week we launched a major update which brings a fresh look and improved functionality across all areas of using Tourbook.

The platform has been given a comprehensive makeover – resulting in a cleaner interface and navigation, a more intuitive editing experience and easier ways to start collaborating. All of this is the result of some substantial technical behind-the-scenes work, which means faster, more reliable performance and a solid foundation for more upcoming features.

Every update is designed to make Tourbook more useful and easy to use. We hope you enjoy the updates. Please share your feedback or get in touch if we can help with anything.

Hereโ€™s a closer look at whatโ€™s new in this release:

1. A Cleaner, Easier-to-Navigate Interface

We’ve redesigned the interface with a focus on clarity and usability. Whether you’re new to the platform or use it regularly, youโ€™ll find it easier to get around, locate what you need, and stay focused on your work.

  • Streamlined navigation and layout
  • Better use of space, especially for content-heavy views
  • Clearer visual hierarchy and labelling

2. An Improved Editor Experience

The new editor makes it faster and easier to manage your content โ€” whether you’re adding something new or updating whatโ€™s already there.

  • More intuitive controls and layout
  • Better autosave and feedback when editing – no more lost work.
  • Improved support for multimedia content and display.

Itโ€™s all designed to reduce friction, help guide you better and focus on what matters โ€” your content.

3. Collaboration Tools That Work For You

We know so many people in the touring sector have multiple hats and roles. Collaborating with others is at the heart of how many of us work โ€” so weโ€™ve improved how you collaborate in-platform.

  • Clearer roles and permissions
  • Easier sharing and access management
  • Better support for working on content together

These changes make it easier than ever to work as a team on Tourbook.

4. Smarter Search & Filtering

Weโ€™ve overhauled our filtering and browsing features to help you find what you need faster.

  • More flexible filters
  • Improved relevance in search results
  • Cleaner layout for browsing large sets of content

Weโ€™ll continue to improve and upgrade our filtering as our community adds more content.

5. Faster, More Accessible, and More Reliable

Weโ€™ve made a series of performance and accessibility upgrades to ensure the platform works well for everyone, everywhere.

  • Faster page loads and better responsiveness
  • Improved support for screen readers and keyboard navigation
  • Improved contrast and visibility
  • More consistent behaviour across devices and browsers

These changes help to make Tourbook as accessible as possible. For more on our commitments to accessibility or to share your feedback on accessing our services view our Accessibility Statement.

6. Fixes That Matter

Weโ€™ve resolved a number of persistent issues that we know have caused frustration for some users:

  • Media display bugs across different formats
  • Fonts not rendering correctly on certain devices
  • Login and session handling issues

These fixes are part of a broader focus on quality and reliability โ€” and weโ€™ll keep going to make things work better.

7. Under-the-Hood Improvements

Behind the scenes, weโ€™ve made major changes to how the platform is structured and delivered. These updates donโ€™t always show up visually โ€” but they improve stability, make development faster, and help us ship updates more consistently going forward.
