New Feature Area: Tour Tools
We will be making a start on the development on a new feature area on the platform – tools to help with the itinerary planning and diary management of tours. This will include: tour diary management, planning checklists, and some simple reporting features.
Environmental Focus
Tour Tools will also have an environmental focus – as we support map-based viewing/planning of routes and environmental data exporting. These features will be based on R&D work we’ve previously undertaken in this area and we’re excited to finally bring these features to the platform.
Curated Collections
There will be more ways to showcase and discover content on the platform – as we expand the collections feature to support festival showcasing, industry memberships and accreditations and other curated content.
Funder Credits
For Tour Pages, we’ll be adding support to credit the support of a funder (from any of the Arts Councils across the UK and Ireland).
More Accessibility Information
We will be expanding the options for venues to list information on accessible performance spaces – with particular focus on how well they are set up to support performers with different access requirements. Venues can also be searched and filtered by these new options.
Early Stage Work
We’ll also be exploring how Tourbook can be used to share information about early stage work that isn’t yet ready for the tour booking stage.
Multi-Lingual Support
We’ll also be bringing support for using Tourbook – and showcasing work – in multiple languages. More details on this to come.
General Improvements
We’ll also be continuing to make changes and improvements based on your feedback. This includes a planned focus on further improvements to the platform messaging system.
