Accessibility

We’re committed to ensuring our website is accessible and usable for everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards and continuously work to improve the accessibility of our content and features.

Our approach to accessibility

We’ve designed and built our platform with accessibility in mind, including consideration of:

  • High colour contrast between text and background for better readability.
  • Resizable text — you can increase or decrease font size using your browser or device settings.
  • Keyboard navigation support — our menus, forms, and interactive elements are accessible without a mouse.
  • ARIA labels and landmarks to provide meaningful structure and context for screen readers.
  • Consistent layout and clear heading structure to help users navigate and understand content more easily.

Areas we’re improving

We know that some parts of the site are not yet fully accessible. For example:

  • User-generated media (such as uploaded images and videos) may not currently include alternative text or descriptions. We’re working to add functionality that will allow contributors to provide accessible descriptions for their media.
  • Some older content may not meet current accessibility standards, but we’re reviewing and updating this over time.
